Tzatziki Seasoning
Description
Otherwise known as Douthat yogurt and cucumber sauce (out of fear of mispronouncing), tsaht-zee-kee is a refreshing chilled condiment that, without it, a gyro or shawarma just isn't complete. While perhaps most associated with Greek food, tzatziki is served across the Mediterranean and Middle East, though sometimes under different names or in slightly different forms. To make a delicious tsaht-zee-kee, mix 1 Tbsp seasoning with 1 cup Greek yogurt & 3/4 cup grated cucumber for a refreshing dip that goes with everything - from grilled meats & vegetables to crudité & chips.
Ingredients: kosher salt (salt, yellow prussiate of soda [anti-caking agent]), garlic, onion, dill weed, vinegar powder (IP maltodextrin, white distilled vinegar), chive, white pepper.
