Sunshine Roasted Asparagus

Sure to inspire, this easy and elegant pairing of asparagus with notes of fresh citrus and leek will turn a side dish into a delicious complement to ham, salmon, lamb, and more.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh asparagus
- 2 tsp fresh lemon juice

2 Tbsp Italian Herb Extra Virgin Olive Oil*

15 to 17 turns Florida Sunshine Salt Spice Blend* (3.8oz grinder bottle)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Prepare the asparagus by snapping off or cutting the woody ends (sharply bend each spear near the base - it will snap in the right place). Discard the ends.
- Place trimmed asparagus on the baking sheet. Drizzle lemon juice and olive oil to coat. Season with 15 to 17 turns of Florida Sunshine Salt Spice Blend grinder and toss.
- Arrange the spears in a single layer. Roast 9 to 11 minutes for thin spears or 15 to 20 minutes for thick - until the base of the asparagus is easily pierced by a fork.
- Just before serving, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the roasted spears, to taste.
